Architectural Drafting
Semester 2 Exercises and Tasks - AutoCAD and Photoshop
Software used: AutoCAD 2D, Photoshop.
On the second semester we were assigned tasks to recreate floor plans, elevations, sections and perspective drawings of existing projects. In some of the tasks, we were required to modify the plans according to client specifications. In others, we were required to develop plans and elevations from scratch based on clients descriptions. The purpose of these assignments was to apply appropriate drafting techniques using AutoCAD 2020 and to develop troubleshooting skills when drafting different projects, all while complying with Sheridan College's Design Standards.

The illustration below is the only one based on a project of original design. It was the main project developed on the ARCH 28544 - Architectural Studio 2 course of the Architectural Technology program of Sheridan College.
This is the Ethan Drive House, located in the city of Mississauga, Ontario. It is a compact development project, designed on lot #90, which is smaller than 0.06-hectare, in an area with fully developed infrastructure. The house has a total of 3 levels – basement, ground floor and second floor.
